She was the youngest daughter of William “Bill” Joseph and Nancy (Calloway) Cloudt of Rodeo who survive along with maternal grandparents Pete and Adell Calloway of Springerville, AZ; paternal grandparents Robert Cloudt of Glenwood, NM, and Betty Cloudt of Rodeo; and her older sister Shawna Marie Plumb of Prescott Valley, AZ.

She attended Loretto Catholic School in Douglas and graduated at the top of her class, with honors from the American Legion. AT Animas High School, she participated in FFA, FHA-HERO, and the National Honor Society. She graduated in the top 5 of her class of 1997. In 2004, she received an Associates degree in Criminal Justice from Yavapai College. She also was a Certified Nursing Assistant who worked with the elderly and mentally impaired.

She returned to Rodeo to help the family operate the grocery store and cafe and had recently enrolled in a program to become an EMT and was looking forward to that. Her life was cut terribly short by a drunk driver.
