George Cornforth in WWI
May 18, 1895 - June 9, 1983
He was the son of John W and Sara Willis Cornforth and born in Kansas. Had two 320 acre homesteads. He served in Esnons, France during WW I.

At one point, he ran Romney Produce in Lordsburg. Later, he bought produce and sold it door-to-door. He also repaired windmills and told people that the “Sheik of the Desert” talked to him. Claimed his great grandfather was the head of the Church of England.
