Sam’s father was John Russell of Texas and his mom was Elizabeth Price of Georgia.
He and Clarence were brothers and they married sisters.
Sam married Velma Richards and they lived in Bisbee. Their children were Jody Gayle, Wilma Laverne, Glen Dale, Harlen Elmer (Dick), and Sammie Ruth.
