May was the wife of David and sister to “Shorty” Miller. She was the youngest of 9 children born to Levi and Caroline Baxter Miller.
(Caroline was the daughter of William and Esther Wightman-Yeamans Baxter) May was born in Star, Texas. She and David had 7 children, Carolyn “Carrie”, Caloway, Frank, J D,
Teresa, Vincent Lee, Hugh, and Clyde. When she sold out, the ranch was bought by the Walkers. Her daughter Carrie went on to marry Claude Gobble and they had Ernestine, Myrtle,
Henry “Hank”, Grace, David, and Helen.
