Banta, Ralph L
1896 - June 20, 1926
Ralph was the son of David C Banta of Iowa and Irene Jacobs of Kansas and was born in Louisiana. He came here from Texas and he was the first husband of Agnes Bull Banta.
He homesteaded 640 acres in the 20’s and was an Army veteran. Ralph worked in the smelter and was the father of Leonard, Lawrence, and Betty June. He was killed in a car
accident in Silver Creek when the tie rod broke. His wife Agnes and children Lawrence and Betty June were all injured, but recovered.
