Benjamin Sanford marries Nancy English
1880 - 1954
Came to the area from Bandera, Texas with her family. She kept house for her brothers, Irb and August English. August cowboyed with Frank Sanford (Benjamin Franklin Sanford) and when Frank got sick with smallpox, August took him home with him. Nancy nursed him back to health, then she took sick. They later married in Douglas. Their children were James Albert, Grace Madaline, and Andrew Frank.
